    Pendo or Productboard?

  • TH

I believe both don't have Discord and GitHub integrations to collect feedback. In our case, those are essential channels where we receive feedback. Otherwise, I heard good things about Productboard but I'm not sure if its a good way to engage with the community (we want to make the whole process as transparent as possible).

We pipe everything into Linear (they have a slack app for adding issues fast, intercom integration for adding issues from there, and we set up make.com automations for syncing issues from our GH issues to linear as well), then we triage issues in Linear and because our Linear integrations have links to the sources of input, we can go back and update folks once we move forward on things or have questions or shipped something

Nice! We also use Linear and sync it with GH issues. Do you know about https://synclinear.com/ ? But make.com obviously also works.

We're considering to build a Linear integration for crowd.dev that lets you mark activities (e.g. from Discord, Twitter, etc.) as issues within our web app which then will get created in Linear. Do you think that would be useful?

Yes, I've seen cal.com's project before but our integration with make.com is more exhaustive tbh (we sync labels in both directions for example, we use grouped labels in linear and have a way to rewrite it in gh, we also sync ALL issues from GH to linear without having to label them, we also import user profiles, allow private comments in linear vs every comment made public, etc.) - It's custom to our workflow but works great. We may switch at some point but for now, there is no need to

Re a Crowd -> Linear sync: That would be awesome! It would have to be automatic though without any action required in crowd except for creating the action. That would be cool We'd definitely use that.

Ahh okay, fair enough. I have to say that synclinear.com is also not working 100% reliable. It sometimes misses to update an issue which can be annoying. Maybe I'll also look into what you've built with Make.

  • GE

Here are 3 of our make.com blueprints exported in case you want to see what we did to set up Linear <> GH sync. LMK if you have any questions. We are thinking about adding selective public comment sync (e.g. via adding an emoji in Linear to make the comment public on GH) but we haven't done that yet.

amazing! Thanks a lot. Will definitely check it out.
